Sports IPTV test: 48 hours for €4

Not free, and not long. Here is why, and how to test a sports service properly in two days.

A stopwatch counting down
Short answer

There is no free trial. The test costs €4, runs for 48 hours on one screen, includes every channel and stops by itself. Start it on a Friday evening so it covers the weekend's matches.

Why the test is not free

Free trials attract people who never intend to pay, and they fill the servers on exactly the evenings that matter. A small charge filters that out.

It also means the test runs on the same servers as paying customers. What you see during those 48 hours is what you would get.

What the test includes

  • All 29,458 channels, Nordic and international
  • The film and series library
  • The programme guide
  • One screen at a time
  • No catch-up
  • 48 hours from activation, then it stops

Test it on a match weekend

Start on a Friday evening. Saturday and Sunday bring the most live sport and the most viewers, which is when a weak service shows. A test spent on a Tuesday morning tells you very little.

  1. Find your own competitions in the guide: the league, the team, the race.
  2. Watch a live match at peak time, on the device and connection you will actually use.
  3. Try a fast sport, hockey or F1, to see whether the device keeps up.
  4. Compare the delay with a friend watching on cable or aerial.
  5. Check that the guide shows the right kick-off time.

After 48 hours

The login stops and nothing renews. If it worked, choose a plan. If it did not, tell us in the chat what failed: the cause is often the device or the Wi-Fi rather than the service, and that can be fixed.

If the test does not work

The usual causes, in order: Wi-Fi far from the router, a device too weak for the stream, and a server address typed wrongly in the app. Running the test on mobile data for two minutes tells you whether the home network is the problem.
