Football on IPTV

The Premier League on a Saturday afternoon, the Champions League on a Tuesday night, and the Nordic leagues from spring to autumn. What to expect, and what to check first.

Short answer

Football is in every plan, and it is the hardest test for any IPTV service because everyone watches at the same moment. A 15:00 Premier League kick-off is 16:00 in Sweden, Norway and Denmark and 17:00 in Finland. Rights change between seasons, so ask in the chat about your league before paying.

How to watch the Premier League in the Nordics

The Premier League runs from August to May, with most matches on Saturdays and Sundays. The English rule that keeps Saturday 15:00 matches off British television applies only in the UK, so in the Nordics far more matches are broadcast live than in England itself.

A 12:30 UK kick-off is 13:30 in Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen, 15:00 becomes 16:00 and 17:30 becomes 18:30. Add an hour in Finland. When the clocks change, the UK and the Nordics move together, so the gap stays the same all season.

Champions League nights

Since 2024/25 the Champions League opens with a single league phase of 36 clubs, each playing eight matches. Match nights are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with kick-offs at 18:45 and 21:00 Nordic time. The Europa League and Conference League take Thursdays.

A Champions League evening puts several matches on at the same time. On a one-screen plan you choose one; the twelve-month plan lets four run at once.

LaLiga, Serie A and the Bundesliga

The Bundesliga's main Saturday slot is 15:30 Nordic time, with a 18:30 game after it. LaLiga and Serie A spread their rounds from lunchtime to late evening, with the biggest matches often at 21:00. With three leagues on the same weekend, the guide's search is the quickest way to find a team.

The Nordic leagues are the reason many of our viewers subscribe, and rights to them change hands like everywhere else. Ask in the chat which channels carry your league this season, and see it with your own eyes during the test.

Why the neighbours cheer first

Every IPTV stream is held in a short buffer before it plays, which puts it a few seconds to around half a minute behind the aerial broadcast. If the house next door cheers before you see the goal, that is why.

A smaller buffer in the player shortens the delay, at the cost of more stuttering on a weak line. The device guide explains the trade-off.

Questions and answers

Can I watch the Premier League with IPTV in Sweden or Norway?

Premier League football is what many of our viewers follow, but we do not promise a specific channel for a whole season, because rights move. Ask in the chat for the current situation, and check it during the 48-hour test.

What time do Premier League matches start in Norway?

An hour later than in the UK: 15:00 in England is 16:00 in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, and 17:00 in Finland.

Is football available in 4K?

Selected big matches are produced in 4K. Most football is broadcast in HD, and that is what arrives.

Can I watch a match later?

Yes, on plans with catch-up: 7 days on three and six months, 14 days on twelve months. The test and one month have none.

Spend €4 before you spend €89.

The test runs for 48 hours on one screen and stops by itself. Start it on a Friday, so it covers a full weekend of matches.
